Masts & Booms

Seal's Spars & Rigging has been building masts and booms for 20 to 30 foot “Plastic Classics” for over thirty years.

In 1981, when Jensen Marine (Cal Boats) closed the west coast factory, we bought all the small boat spar parts, including the die for the “Jensen Section”. Seal's Spars & Rigging is the only source for this original mast and boom section (see below).

We can build a complete new mast or boom, build a new mast or boom with your reusable fittings, or we can furnish you with the aluminum section and you can do it yourself. We do insurance work, and can ship anywhere in the U.S. Call us for details.

“Jensen” Section (also known as Famet Marine FM-B)
This is the original mast section used on the Cal 20, 21 and 24, and the Ranger 20. It is also the original boom section used on the Cal T-4, 27, 2-27, 28, 29, 30, and 2-30, and the Columbia 28.
